Effective date: January 27, 2026. This policy explains how Blumelle handles information in the app and on blumelle.online.
Your cycle entries stay on your device. We do not require an account or store your data on our servers.
We do not sell or rent your information, and this site does not use third-party trackers.
Apple Health sharing is optional and managed in iOS settings.
Information we collect
Blumelle does not require an account. Your cycle history stays on your device and is not stored on our servers.
Optional cloud insight wording (opt-in, off by default): with your permission, the app may send anonymous, de-identified pattern summaries (no name, notes, chat, absolute dates, or device identifiers) to a relay we operate, which calls a paid Google Gemini API to rewrite those statistics into plain language. Apple Health values are not included. You can inspect the exact fields in the app under You → Privacy & AI → What gets sent, and turn the feature off at any time. Declining keeps fully local prebuilt content.

- Support emails: if you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
- Apple Health: if you enable Apple Health, the data you choose to share stays in Apple Health on your device and is governed by Apple's policies. We do not receive it.
How we use information
We use support emails to reply, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Optional cloud insight requests are used only to generate a one-shot wording response and are not stored by us. We do not use your information for advertising.
AI processors and retention
Cloud insight wording uses Google’s paid Gemini API via our relay. Under Google’s paid Gemini API terms, prompts and responses are not used to train or improve Google’s models. We configure the relay for no server-side storage of request or response content and do not log payload bodies. Production deployment requires a paid Google billing account and, where available, a project-level zero-data-retention / abuse-monitoring exception.
Data storage and security
Your entries are stored locally on your device. You can delete the app to remove local data. If you use Apple Health, manage that data through Apple Health. Cloud insight requests are one-shot and unlinkable by design (no persistent user ID).
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your data. When cloud insight wording is on and you request a rewrite, anonymous aggregates are processed by Google as described above. We only otherwise share information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Your choices
- Keep Cloud insight wording off (default) for fully on-device / prebuilt text.
- Review What gets sent before or after enabling cloud wording.
- Opt out of Apple Health at any time from iOS Settings or within Apple Health.
- Email us if you would like help with deleting or exporting your data.
Children's privacy
Blumelle is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Cloud insight wording is blocked when a known age under 18 is on the profile.

We will update this page if the policy changes and revise the effective date above.
